During 2012 Samsung introduced its own mobile device operative system named BADA.
Along with it, they launched a new line of high end mobile phones named Samsung Wave (GT-S8500) which was an immediate success, becoming the best-selling mobile phone in countries such as France.
To generate new content in order to acquire added value for these new products Samsung, through their subsidiaries, selected a few local developers exclusively for this task.
In Argentina, Elyptics was one of the chosen four.
During that year we developed 12 apps, each of them adapted to two smartphone models.
To this day they have over 1,500,000 downloads worldwide.
Pantalla Rota was the classic application which simulated the screen being shattered just by touching it, by both sound and animation.
It was the most downloaded application for Samsung smartphones equipped with BADA, made in Argentina.
