Samsung Olympics
Samsung, as offical sponsor of the London 2012 Olympic Games, decided to ignite a virtual Olympic flame in order to show support for the participating Argentinian athletes.
Under the creative lead of ad agency Leo Burnett, Elyptics developed a website along with its mobile version, in which users could register through their Facebook or Twitter accounts or by twitting using #samsungolympic, and have their avatars become part of the virtual flame.
The virtual flame was displayed not only on the website, but also on a videowall structure made out of 18 LCD screens and located in Galerías Pacífico, in middle of downtown Buenos Aires.
